Jason's design for this car is marvelous!
I have seen (in person) his other two designs that are similar, the Maserati Birdcage concept and Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina and love his design language. I missed seeing the Mantide, but I bet I would love that one too.
I spoke with Jerrod Shelby briefly when the car was arriving on Saturday to congratulate him on his efforts and also compliment him on choosing Jason Castriota as his designer for the new car. He mentioned to me that the first running prototype for the Tua-Tara will be on the roads in the next 4 months.
I wish them a lot of success with the car.

I agree with most everyone on this car. It's groundbreaking and very futuristic looking. I cannot wait to see it in person. I'm very sad that I missed the unveiling at The Museum of Flight when they had it here.

I dont like it at all.Looks horrible. But just my oppinion. And i strongly doubt that this wired car can possibly be faster than a Veyron (SS).But maybe they will test it on a dowhillroad with no visible speedo again and than claim to have new world record...

it looks infinitely better than the Veyron.

way too futuristic and too much spaceship imo. but big respect for the SSC team to build such a thing

Seriously, you're neg repping me for saying this looks better than the Veyron. Fanboy much?
Listen I love the Bugatti but imo the classy "safe" look doesn't really match the nature of the car.
Even its predecessor, the EB110, is a more proper looking supercar.
The Tuatara looks fantastic. The design is inventive, smooth, futuristic and even menacing. Exactly what an insanely fast, extremely limited, supercar should look like.

Are you trying to say 'weird'?
Might want to run your posts through the spell checker before you submit them if you would like your opinions to be taken more seriously.
I find the technical merits of the Veyron to be impressive and I understand why people like them, but to call it a 'thing of beauty' especially when comparing it to Jason Castriota's stunning design for the new SSC is way out there.
