Nice car, strange name.
In portuguese, Tuatara sounds like "tua tara". That means "your fetich" in a very sexual and kind of offensive way...
IVE JUST NOTICED AND FINALLY FIGURED OUT THE TAIL LIGHT!!! They're actually Jason castroita's initials. If you look at his logo then it will make sense, especially on the left taillight. You can see the small J and the large C. Clever Jason!

It's alive!!! Well almost. It does at the very least roll.

Obviously at this stage this particular chassis is still merely a styling buck.

This is a ground-breaking design. It's what many automotive designers would dream of bringing to market, but can't because they're stifled by bean counters and regulators. I really appreciate and admire the chances taken with the design. Here's hoping it lays down astounding performance numbers.

Jason's design for this car is marvelous!
I have seen (in person) his other two designs that are similar, the Maserati Birdcage concept and Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina and love his design language. I missed seeing the Mantide, but I bet I would love that one too.
I spoke with Jerrod Shelby briefly when the car was arriving on Saturday to congratulate him on his efforts and also compliment him on choosing Jason Castriota as his designer for the new car. He mentioned to me that the first running prototype for the Tua-Tara will be on the roads in the next 4 months.
I wish them a lot of success with the car.
