Officially Official - The Pagani Huayra Revealed

The car looks better than the first iteration of the Zonda. No doubt. But it is a disappointment in that it does not look better than the latest Zonda, far from it IMO...
Also, heavier and with the low-revving engine...Does anyone know what the new/old AMG biturbo-12 rev too???? Curious to know...

Hi Guys, I would just like to post a few facts about the engine as a lot of mis-information seems to be going around:
The engine is based on the V12 block from the Maybach S but has custom heads, internals and turbo’s
730bhp and 811lb ft at 3500rpm
Rev limit 6500rpm
AMG code number M158
Rated at below 310g/km of CO2 on the combined cycle which makes it as clean as the V8's in the 458 and the MP4-12C
Therefore the car is fully Euro 5 and LEN II compliant so available to be sold in the USA.
As Pagani are a small independent company a NA V12 was never going to be an option as they would not have been able to meet the US emission standards.
The likes of Lamborghini can do this as they are owned by Audi who in turn are owed by VW therefore their cars get grouped into the wider parents companies average fleet emission standards.

There is information around that Huayra will be available in two versions - normal with 700 bhp and Sport with 730 bhp. Torque will be more impressive in Sport version as well. Honestly speaking I don't see any any single point why should a customer choose normal over Sport version.

Could someone scan the Huayra article in the new EVO? The next shop where I could get it is about 200km away, and it costs an absurd amount of money for a magazine here.
Thanks for the Top Gear article, meanwhile!
