For me, I would take the 458.

But the only satisfying choice would be both.

i would take the 458 too unless i get a chance to drive the MP4-12P. the price isn't bad though consider the carbon monocoque chassis. i would like to see the option list & price. let's not forget the carbon ceramic brake is standard on the 458. so a MP4-12P with the same brake will be more than the 458.

option on the MP4 are not cheap!
If you compare a well spec'd 458 vs a MP4 you will find that the Ferrari is a better buy... in my part of the world anyway
And from what I have seen of the MP4, they have a lot of quality issue that need to be resolved
