Pagaini Zonda R auctioned for 720k Pounds! Just saw the RM auction video of a Pagani Zonda R sold for 720k pounds. What a bargain, compared with 599xx. Anyone here know where its going? The guy that won the bid looks Russian.

Exactly the video I saw. Not sure how many Pagani will build, but as far as I know, there are 25 599xxs, which would make the zonda R a much more unique item. But then again, who knows, I count at least 10 "unique" last examples of the zonda.

I've never seen either in person, but from what I have seen in pictures, the 599xx seems more like a factory works race car, while the Zonda R has a "bespoke" quality to it that makes it as much an engineering masterpiece as a performance car. To me, the Zonda R hits on all levels.
