A little known fact that Koenigsegg don't like to admit is that the V8 used in the CCX is heavily based on the Ford 4.6 liter modular motor. So much so that valve covers and some other parts are interchangeable between the two.
I don't hate it, but like others who have posted in this thread, don't really "get" all the hoopla surrounding it either.

Sorry for my bad english. The engine is a completely independent koenigsegg engine, since 2006.

I think we are saying the same thing. Before 2006, the CC8 and CC8S used Ford engines with Koenigsegg internals and other parts. Now the engines are all built for Koenigsegg to their spcifications by a 3rd party. However, the architecture/design is still based on that of the Ford engine.
