Lets just say for sh!ts and giggles that what they are actually able to produce this car. In order to accelerate like that it is going to need grip, and lots of it. I just don't see much grip happening with the low profile tires pictured on the car. Especially in a 2wd car. Top gear did a test on the 9ff ctr-something that has 900+ hp and it would barely hook below 100mph. I have spoken with numerous drivers of 800-900 hp big-block Can Am cars at historic racing events, and even with 15 in wide, gummy slicks, grip is a problem at low speeds. Even a F1 car does the 1/4 mile in 9.something seconds. The only thing doing the 1/4 mile in 6 seconds is going to have HUGE fat, tall slicks that have been properly warmed up and launched with a calibrated stall converter automatic tranny.

1/4 mile in 6.6 seconds @ 204 mph?
Let's put this into perspective. This car ran a 6.5 sec @ 216 mph. Notice the tiny wheels up front, the gigantic wrinkle-wall slicks in the back, the wheelie bar, and a gutted out car.
