Here's McLaren's latest teaser video for its new MP4-12C supercar. This one's called "Inside McLaren Automotive: Experimental Prototypes: The Next Generation" and basically shows the car under high-speed testing during development.

I'm still not 100% sold on the looks but I'm pretty sure I want one more than I've ever wanted anything else in my life.

 

I hope it can live up to the expectations. I'd rather they compromise on the comfort than the race car attributes.

 

I don't like the sounds of that- they are making the car easy, and comfortable. Isn't that the exact opposite of the McLaren F1? Is it for soccer moms? They should make it hard and badass because those are the cars that stir the soul and get you up late at night thinking about them. Plus, the exterior is really boring. I want to like this car so much, and I know it will be a performer, but idk. It seems like the whole exotic car industry of the 80s, 90s, and early 00s has gone from unique exotic cars that are hard to comfy sports cars where you just need to steer and push the gas.

 

If they hit their targets of 3000 pounds and 600+ HP, it will get your heart going....guaranteed.

Love it. Love the Weight and love the platform. A TT v8 is going to be amazing once a tuner gets their hands on it.

 

They are building one sick car.
