There are 2 or 3 Zonda in the US. Dunno what they did to make them street legal. Probably Show & Display or dealer plates.

Although the red Huayra was not approved and patented, the test drive was conducted under the aegis of the rules "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Show_and_Display". This is a special permission to show cars, that can handle the streets and U.S. routes any model, without certification or patenting.
All you have to do is commit to not travel more than 2,500 miles (4,022 kilometers) annually and submit the vehicle once a year for a routine inspection to local transit authorities.
Achieved Pagani Huayra this authorization for legal advice by a pair of North American customers, who bought Zonda units in the U.S., though that model was not approved in the country.
