The Art Of Horacio Pagani http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2795/...046e971c_o.jpg The Art Of Horacio Pagani Possibly the world's finest car maker. As noted from Wikipedia, Horacio Pagani comes from a line of Argentinian bakers. From a young age he enjoyed designing cars out of balsa wood, the designs of which can now be seen in the Pagani showroom. In 1983 he moved to Italy in order to pursue his dream of building a supercar. At the age of 20, Pagani had designed and built his first f3 racer. Pagani's first experience with the automobile industry was with Lamborghini who he worked for as a composite specialist in the 80's.[2] In 1991, he broke away from the company and founded his own consultancy called Modena Design who continue to make carbon fibre composites for Formula One cars and clients like Daimler, Ferrari and Aprilia. Pagani Automobili Modena was founded by Pagani in 1992. The first car he produced was the Zonda which took seven years to complete and here we are today in paying tribute to the bespoke supercar maker in a tribute thread aptly titled "The art of Horacio Pagani". Below you will see I came across a bunch of Zonda pictures -- from the Monza all the way through Clubsport Roadster -- and rather than just file them away somewhere, thought I would share them, in no particular order: http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...eed/zonda1.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...eed/zondaS.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...oadster-S_.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...onda_F_289.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...onda_F_290.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...onda_F_293.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...onda_F_294.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...onda_F_295.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...onda_F_300.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_049.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_052.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_058.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_064.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...segg_CXX_0.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_001.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_018.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_026.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_027.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_043.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_061.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_068.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...adster_069.jpg |
the blue looks so sick...i'd love me any of these zonda's one day :D |
The Zonda is second only to the 300SL Gullwing on my top few dream cars - it's amazing. |
Can someone explain how the soft op in the Zonda f roadster works? It looks like only the back window is cloth. |
Awesome, love the pics of yellow one. Thanks for posting! |

The Zonda is the one car that if/when I acquire one, I will know that I have truly made it in life :) Thanks for the photos and keep 'em coming if you have any more. |
