I love this car. I have only seen one in person, and there wasn't much info on it, so I didn't know much about it, and therefor didn't appreciate it as much as I should have. It was during the second or third Gumball Rally, the one that ended in Miami. I saw it pulling into the Mandarin hotel, I followed it in to the Garage, looked it over for a while, and spoke to the mechanic. The car had a Ford racing engine in it at the time. Apparently the owner was arrested. For obvious excessive speeding, and his passenger was apparently an Iraqi citizen with no passport or visa.

Great looking car though. I want one.

As they have been using ford block in the past but CCR was the last one with it. As far as I know they manufactured the engine completely on their own for CCX.

 

I saw one at the Universal grand opening in NY. Just simply amazing.

 

Great looking car. Gray is a good color for the ccx.

 

It seems this car is actually a CCXR. The biofuel version.
