Thank you Sir.
I think this is a good signing for Liverpool, pretty low risk, not paid a huge sum of money for him, he's only 21 and he's worked well under Rogers before. I hope that Rogers can sign Dempsey as soon as possible.
And someone, somewhere, without access to the internet, TV, newspapers can be persuaded that Andy Carroll would be an excellent purchase for their team and worth at LEAST £35M.

Everton value Baines at more than £15 million, but United are unlikely to be willing to do business at that price. However, Sir Alex Ferguson, the United manager, is confident of securing a deal for the 27-year-old, who has three years still to run on his contract at Goodison Park.
Patrice Evra’s form nosedived last season, although the Frenchman was badly affected by the death of a brother and the race row involving Luis Suárez, the Liverpool forward. With Fábio Da Silva joining Queens Park Rangers on a season-long loan deal and Ezekiel Fryers expected to sign for Tottenham Hotspur, Ferguson requires cover at left back.
Baines’s arrival would represent a shift in transfer policy for Ferguson. Dimitar Berbatov, the striker, is the only player aged over 26 that Ferguson has signed for a fee in the past 15 years. The Scot favours buying younger players whom he can develop.
Ferguson is a big admirer of Lucas Moura, the highly rated São Paulo and Brazil midfielder, but the chances of United signing the 19-year-old would appear to hinge on the Brazilian club dropping their £35 million asking price. The situation is also complicated by interest from Inter Milan and Real Madrid in the player.

It is thought Spurs are prepared to make the former Arsenal striker the best-paid player in the club’s history, on a package worth £115,000 a week. The 28-year-old will become André Villas-Boas’s third signing of the summer after the arrivals of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jan Vertonghen, although Rafael van der Vaart may yet be allowed to leave, with Hamburg, the Dutchman’s former club, tracking him.
