Not yet, the sticking point so far has been the transfer amount. I think last week they agreed on about 35 million, but then PSG offered $43 million for him. Hulk came out earlier in the week and said he didnt want PSG, but wanted to go to Chelsea.

I think this will go through in the next week.

Not really gossip, but here is a drawing of what Chelsea's new stadium would have looked like if they had won the bid for the Battersea Power Station site.

It's cool how they incorporated the building and power stacks into the Stadium.

 

Chelsea need to get on with it and sign Hulk.

They'll have played it smart getting all their purchases in quick, get some training done, etc etc.

Never understood this deadline day nonsense.

I just can't see Hulk in a United shirt for some reason.

It's also good to see that top players do actually want to come and play in the Premier League, just not for Liverpool, unfortunately.

 

At this point I find it amazing when players sign for Liverpool over the Manc clubs or the big London clubs. I'm guessing it's either loyalty from their youth, a great offer, or a mix of the two. Otherwise, I can't imagine turning one of the current big four down.

Me? If I were good enough to be highly sought after, my heart would say United, but my head would say Inter. Who wouldn't want to live in Milan?

 

My brothers and I use to joke about offering to play for Tahiti or Fiji or someplace, and guaranteeing we move them up at least 5 spots in the international rankings... My wife and I went to a world cup qualifying match in Barbados, versus Cuba. The whole time I was thinking, "I could be out there working these guys." Just set me up with a house on the beach... seriously, it was like watching a high school game.
