Just heard a report on NFL channel that they plan on announcing it officially on Wednesday in a press conference.

 

Saw this one coming. Heard that they owe him too much and his resign bonus was stratospheric. Any thought about who might scoop him up if this comes to fruition?

 

Not sure who will take him. I dont even know if he has properly recovered from his surgery.

 

My money is he goes to the Jets or Miami.

I'm a Pats fan, hated the Colts but respected Manning. I honestly hate to see this, it's to bad and I hope Manning makes them regret this.

 

Manning getting hurt was the best thing to ever happen to the Colts... He is on his last leg and so is most of the D... Gettinng #1 pick allows them to clean shop and start over with what some call "a sure thing" at QB.

When the fans don't really care that the greatest player in there franchises history is released you know it's time to move on.

My money is on Miami, even though i don't understand why you would go there over SF who is ready to win now!

Both Miami and the Jets need a LOT more than a QB, not matter how good that QB is.

I'm not sure if Manning would want to come to Washington, but i wouldn't be surprised if the Redskins tried to pick him up.
