Actually a decent fight, Marquez has a chance to win it...

Well that is a surprise... I thought Marquez won it

 

Didn't watch it but the recaps make it sound like a pretty good fight.

I miss good boxing.

 

I thought it was a close enough fight that it could have went either way. Nacho constantly telling Marquez in between each round that he's winning probably cost him the fight, as he clearly fought conservatively the last few rounds (when winning those rounds could have given him the decision). Floyd is probably licking his chops tonight, and also thankful that Manny didn't lose so that their fight's big payday is still a realistic possibility.

He was fantastic.

Can you believe how many serious head shots these guys take, and don't miss a beat? Unreal stamina and toughness.

I know their lower mass means less power in the punches, but the speed and frequency is insane. And a brain's a brain. No idea how they keep a clear head getting rattled over so many rounds.

 

damn i missed the fight! i was surprised to see such a big crowd for marquez supposedly he put up a great fight... People are saying Pacquiao doesnt stand a chance with mayweather because mayweather destroyed marquez, what do you guys think?

 

I think Floyd has a great chance of winning if he fights in a style similar to Marquez. JMM definitely has laid a blueprint for frustrating/defeating Manny with this counter punching technique (and Floyd is much quicker than JMM). I'd love to see Manny beat the snot out of Floyd, but I believe the pendulum has swung in Floyd's direction after seeing last night's fight.

 

aaahhhh... i wouldve love to see manny win against floyd as well
