I refuse to support any fights on Pay Per View.

Here is my take on Pay Per View - the Reader's Digest Version.

IMHO, PPV destroyed boxing.

Too many people paid a lot of money for key fights in the 1990s.

Too many of those fights ended in 30 seconds.

Yet PPV remained the only way to watch title bouts live.

This put the bad taste in people's mouth about boxing in general.

I sincerely hope that it doesn't happen to MMA.

Well as per my op...Saturday is the first fight on network tv for the UFC...theyve signed a 7 year deal with Fox...fights will air on Fox...Fuel and FX over that span...well see if it catches on enough to put an end to most the PPV events...

Pacquiao.

Regardless, these 2 fighters are very well matched. It will be a blood bath!

For someone who grew up in Vegas and went to a dozen title fights, boxing is a total tragedy.
