Well it depends on what kind of football you like, there is a charm to good defending teams, in my opinion the EPL teams are disastrous at defending, it shows in this years Champions league.
But sure ile give the EPL that, there are more goals, infact 754 vs 665 for Serie A so far ( less matches played so far in Serie A).
The arenas are a big problem in italy, and it is changing..juventus has a great new arena that is almost full every match.
Take chievo for instance, their arena is a piece of crap.
40000 seats in a huge flat arena with running tracks.
A team like that needs a compact 30000 arena, so when the usual 20ish thousand fans come it looks full and creates an atmosphere.

Take stadio olympico or the San siro for instance they have nearly 85000 seats, how ever you cut it..it will look like its empty..

Time for new arenas in italy!!!

So sad for inter, but something good will come out of this..Ranieri will be sacked and the team will be overhauled.

But still

Not at all. San Siro has a capacity of 80k which is not impossible at all to fill if you consider some statistics from Bundesliga. Now also take into account that Dortmund has 580k inhabitants and Milan has 1,3 mil.

Signal Iduna Park - Borussia Dortmund
Capacity: 80.720
Average: 79.151; 98,1%

Allianz Arena - FC Bayern München
Capacity: 69.901
Average: 69.000; 98,7%

^the german crowds are amazing. No one can match them.

Italians are pre occupied with other things, and very spoiled.
If their teams aren't at the TOP, they stop coming

So for italy smaller Arenas would be better

Sooo, do we think CSKA has a chance tonight? I don't think they do but I'd love to see Pontus Wernbloom and his friends kick some ass tonight!!

^They will suffer the same fate as basel ( probably less than 7 goals though)

So no chance

Agree with Artist, I think at least 3 goals for Real

Chelsea Napoli however, that could be a nailbiter.

Nah, Chelsea is way out of form. 4-0 to Napoli. At least.
