OK St has said that even though they have one loss, you have to look at the quality of their wins. Both teams played four ranked teams this year. Here are the combined scores from those 4 games.
Alabama: 127-47
Oklahoma State: 164-110
So, Alabama won their tough games by more. There goes that argument.
Now let's look at losses. Both teams lost one game in over time. Seems pretty even right. NO, Alabama's one loss was to the #1 team in the nation. Oklahoma State's one loss was to a team that come is 8th place in the Big 12 (which only has 10 teams in it)
So tell me, what argument is there for OK state to be in the National Championship? That they won their conference?

Bama lost that game because the players did not give two shits about it. They wanted to be playing for the national championship.
I know for a fact that the players were out on Bourbon Street the night before the game.
The fact is that Oklahoma State did not get done what they needed to. They lost to one of the worst teams in their conference.
