Chris, I actually hope United wins the league. There's no way it's not going to be one of the Manchesters, and I hope City burns in hell. I'm way more interested that Tottenham is in a free fall!

Crazy rumors today... My brother messaged me about all this crap below,
From BBC Gossip:
(Pure Evo note: The first one here was "reported" in a newspaper owned by City's owners
)
-Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has accepted proposed wages of £210,000 a week to move to Manchester City, although a transfer fee has yet to be agreed between the two clubs. The deal would make the 28-year-old the Premier League's highest-earning player once City sell Carlos Tevez.
-Edin Dzeko could make way for Van Persie at Manchester City with Milan and Juventus considering offering the 25-year-old striker, signed from Wolfsburg for £27m 14 months ago, a move to Italy.
-City will face competition for Higuain's signature from Chelsea with the Blues strikers Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba struggling against poor form and advancing years respectively.
-Manchester City are also set to launch a bid for Real Madrid's 24-year-old striker Gonzalo Higuain. Manager Roberto Mancini wants the £35m-rated Argentinian as part of a new-look front line that also includes van Persie.
-Arsenal are preparing a £25m bid which, if successful, would make Borussia Dortmund's 19-year-old attacker Mario Gotze the most expensive signing in the club's history.
-Arsenal are also set to snatch Ajax's £10m-rated centre-back Jan Vertonghen, 24, from under Tottenham's noses.
-Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson attended Lille's match away to Lyon on Saturday evening, sparking suggestions that he is about to challenge Tottenham and Arsenal in the race for the visitors' 21-year-old attacker Eden Hazard.

I think Van Persie will go. He doesn't strike me as the type of player that really has a lot of loyalty to a specific club.
I hope United wins the Prem now too, I hate how City is just a revolving door each year of players who are having a good season. They have 3 great strikers already, and what are they going to do, trade them all in and get some new one's.

Honestly, I don't think selling RVP is such a stupid move.
They're gonna get a ridiculous tansfer sum from City, probably arund 50M I hope. That will give Arsenal a lot of money to invest in their midfield and defense, which honestly could need some new players. Götze sounds like the ideal player who can fill the gap after Fabregas but I'm not sure if he wants to leave Dortmund. That new center-back from Ajax also sounds like a solid investment. They bought Podolski who is a class striker and who could take RVP's role, although he obviously isn't as good a player atm. Still I think he can improve in a team like Arsenal.
All in all, selling RVP and investing in a better all round team seems logical to me. It's what Inter Milan did when they sold Ibrahimovic to Barca for 60M£ and bought players which in the next season brought them the tripple with Mourinho. I say go ahead and sell RVP right now.
