Sucks.
Phillies limped into the playoffs, Howard limped out.

This ALCS game 1 should be a good one. Wilson vs. Verlander.

that phillies game was a joke. They were out hit, out managed and out played in the final game. St Louis obviously wanted it more than the phillies. Manuel should have switched up the line up and put pence after howard in the 5 spot like he did most of the regular season. I would have pinch hit for Howard in the 9th. Mayberry at least has better plate discipline. We needed hits not some guy who gets an occasional homerun inbetween striking out every at bat. You knew he was going to get out after going 1 for 13 or some crap like that. It was 2010 all over again when he ended the series against the giants with the bat on his shoulder as he stared at a called strike three. Just this time he at least got wood on the ball. Oh well. Phillies have a lot of repairs and improvements to work on. They need to get younger and faster. Howard, Utley, Rolling, Ibanez are all getting old. May be time to make some trades and get some young fresh blood. We need a better hitting and 1st base coach too. Still pissed over the loss but life goes on.

Go Rangers!!

Well, at least this is no longer a concern.
