Trying to name the next_______ before history has had a chance to live itself out, is a microcosm of many things that are wrong with the US these days. Everyone wants everything and they want it now. The stock market rises and falls with speculation of what might happen rather than what actually has happened. The same goes with sports history. Why do so many people feel the need to declare who is going to be the greatest of all time before that is proven out through accomplishments. Right now LBJ's resume in the spectrum of the greatest of all time discussion is mostly filled with speculation. Until it actually plays out, let's let those that have actually earned that level of praise enjoy that honor.
