Neither of you realize that Chalmers being wide open was a fluke and due to Jason Terry not playing defense. Lebron was just inbounding the ball because he's a great passer and is big (two of the things you want in an inbounder). The Heat ran an inbound play, and got lucky with the result of a player being wide open in the corner. There was so much time on the clock, enough to inbound the ball and get it into the hands of whoever the Heat wanted it in.

2 things BigE. You talk about how you have so much experience and know so much about the game, yet your comments suggest otherwise.

Lebron didn't defer the shot. It was his job to inbound on that particular play and he found a wide open player who took the shot. You can't defer something that you never had in the first place. Do you know what defer means?

Second, the last time I checked, identifying a wide open player and making a perfect pass to him is being part of the play. It's called an assist.

None of us know what the Heat's plans were for that possession. I can't say for sure that the ball would've been in Lebron's hands and you guys can't say for sure that it wouldn't have been.

In any case, part of being a great player is knowing when to pass, and is recognizing when you're not on your game on a given night. Being a superstar isn't about scoring a billion points or making/taking the last shot every chance you get. It's a team sport, and if Lebron, or Kobe, or Jordan, or whoever has a choice between a contested 17' or passing to a big wide open under the net, they should pass. It doesn't take away from their greatness, it adds to it.

You guys are acting like MJ never lost a game.

Miami will still win this series.

Wait ...how many games did the LAKERS win against the mavs? Where was the beloved Kobe then.

That's what i thought....

I am sick and tired of all the Lebron hate around here.

I am willing to wager anyone who still thinks the Mavs will win this series.

Bring it on Bi*ches.

I feel like I'm arguing with children who can't accept the other side of the argument. This isn't about who is right or wrong.

I'd feel pretty confident saying MJ was never a no show in the 4th in a playoff game in his prime.... Lebron didn't make a shot, not one!

Shouldn't you be watching Hockey ehy?

Hey genius I believe BigE is referring to the LAST shot, when Lebron could of used his speed and muscle to get a shot up but decided to pass to wade!

I was the one laughing at him being the in bounds guy! I have NEVER seen the "best" player on the team do that, EVER! The pass has nothing to do with it and if you think "Mike I'm a hood rat gangsta wannabe Miller" couldn't of made the same pass than your an even bigger fool than we all already believe you are!

You just got through saying how Lebron didn't make a single shot in the 4th quarter, and now you're giving him shit for not pushing it to give himself the last shot. Like I said before, great players recognize when they aren't having a good night and don't take a bad shot when someone else has a better opportunity.

I already explained why Lebron was the inbounds guy...

Speak for yourself.

Jordan went scoreless for the majority of a 4th quarter of a Finals game against the Blazers.

He also struggled in several eastern conference finals games. Series with the Knicks and the Pacers comes to mind.
