Lakers' Bynum suspended five games for Barea foul
The NBA announced the suspension Tuesday, two days after Bynum was ejected for the foul late in the two-time defending champions' 36-point loss to the Mavericks in Game 4. The league also fined Bynum $25,000 for ripping off his jersey while heading to the locker room, which means the suspension will cost Bynum more than $700,000.

The monetary value on that should be more of a commentary on how ridiculous his salary is, instead of having people gushing over how that will hurt him financially.
Heck, he'll probably get a record deal out of all this...

Lakers center Andrew Bynum was suspended by the NBA for the first five games next season and fined $25,000 for his flagrant foul on Dallas guard J.J. Barea on Sunday. Bynum will forfeit $677,272 in salary.

Do you always come up with random BS that is completely untrue 
Teams may pay fines that actually "help" the team.Such as when a coach gets thrown out to "wake his team up", They do not pay them for dirty fouls that embarrass the franchise...
