El Clasico: Real Madrid CF vs. Barcelona FC

You dont want any competition?
I can appreciate what Barca does in the Champions League, but you could save a bunch of money and time with La Liga by just flipping a coin at the start of the season and whoever picks right between Real and Barca wins that year. No need to play any games, or anything. The result would be the same as a full season. Real or Barca would win.

Sevilla: 2 UEFA Cups and 1 UEFA Supercup, 1 Liga and 5 King's Cups.
Atlético de Madrid: 1 UEFA Cups, 1 UEFA Supercup, 1 UEFA Recup, 1 Intercontinental cup, 9 Ligas and 9 King's Cups.
Valencia: 1 UEFA Cup, 1 UEFA Recup, 2 UEFA Supercups, 1 Intertoto, 6 Ligas and 7 King's Cups.
Athletic de Bilbao: 8 Ligas, 23 King's Cups.
And about the TV...
Real Madrid receives from TVs 140M €, that's five times what Bayern gets and more than double of what Olympic and Manchester get.

It's easy to be the best when you earn various times what others do.

I don't care.
It's the principle, I just don't like it that some people are buying teams and than use "their" team as a hobby.
Things like that never end well.

... There are many great teams that not so long ago were fighting for titles.

I keep kidding around but deep inside I know they will take the league

The gap between Barca Real and the rest is widening season by season the Spanish FA is a joke if they dont sell TV rights collectively and give a bigger slice of revenue to the rest of the teams it'll only get worse. As much as i hate this comparison La Liga is becoming the next SPL. The fact that historic teams with huge Fan bases like Valencia, Athletic and Sevilla make less money from TV rights (maybe even less money all together) than Wigan is very telling. Im affraid if we dont get a bunch of foreign billionaires like the owner of Malaga come along then La Liga will truly suffer and Barca and Madrid will suffer accordingly. I dont see the Spanish FA doing anything about it, its a shame really because the level and technique in the Spanish game is unrivaled anywhere else in Europe.

Call me old-fashioned but I don't like this idea.
They are just using the club as a hobby or toy.
