Apparently Arsenal just bought Barcelona's 16 year old super talent Fran Merida. Just like they bought Fabregas when he was 16 and ManU bought Piqué from Real when he was 16.
The reason is that English teams can sign sponsor contracts with players who are 16 y o or older, whereas Spanish teams have to wait until players are 17 y o. So the english teams basically steal all the talents away from Spain by offering big bucks 1 year earlier.

everyone else, would you watch a match like this alone at home? with friends at a house? or in a public place, such as a coffee shop for ME'ers or pubs/bars for Euros?

Puyol and Pique out is pretty big. Arsenal will announce Van Persie yes/no at the last possible second. I'm sure he'll play, though. As Yogi Berra or Charles Barkley might say "It's either going to be a close game, or not."

I'll be watching the game solo, but every time my wife hears me screaming or yelling she comes in to see what's up

 

i would say 3 goals in the match itself is not far off, but i don't think Arsenal will fail to score
enjoy the match, and the ensuing fights at the gahwa

exactly why i am keen on Arsenal scoring, that IS pretty big.. in comparison, it's like Rio or/and Vidic not playing for Utd isn't it? we've seen how that worked out in the past few weeks
