Man what I would give to spend the winter out there. Lakes and ponds are nice here, but the big ones don't fully freeze over and no matter what, everything is covered in snow. Be sure to snag some pics of it all.

Winters (up in the mountains) get pretty cold. Nothing like Canada or Boston but still cold. We go away every weekend. It was 14 degrees. Then you drive down off the hill and it's mid-seventies and sunny. Best of both worlds.
