No way Crosby is retiring. It's rough that the guy is still out though.

This just in! Jonathan Quick is the first Kings goalie with back-to-back 30 win seasons. He says he is "content" and will be done come seasons end. *rolls eyes*

What exactly does that mean?

Also crosby practiced for 15 minutes today, good to hear for him.

sounds like hes prepin for a possible return in the playoffs if the pens make it deep.

I was thinking if all goes well he could return sometime in the second round if they make it.

It was a bad joke. Jonathan Quicks stats versus the Red Wings, Flyers, Sharks, Canucks and Capitals.

14 Games played. 1.48 GAA. .943 Save %. 4 Shutouts.
Notable game - 51 save shutout in a 5-0 win over Detroit.

if Niemi gets hot again like last year going into the playoffs he is damn near unbeatable...... now if he "plays" like he did tonight then theres no chance of that

I'm not a fan of the Sharks or the Blackhawks but what they did to him in the offseason still pisses me off. He IMO was the main reason they won the Cup and then they pick up that old man and give him the cold shoulder. I realize they took him to arbitration court and he wanted 3.5 Million and they couldn't because they had a fire sale. That being said, if I was Bowman I would have gotten rid of anybody but my core guys to keep Niemi. The core guys IMO are Kane, Toews, Sharp, Keith, and Hossa, that's it. I would have also kept Byfuglien. I don't see them making a run this year. But, with this Western Conference who knows who'll get in.
