What a great 3rd period by the Oilers last night!! That made the boredom of the middle of the first and all the way through the 2nd bearable. That 5 goal outburst with a Jonesy hattrick was so much fun. And it was mini-jersey giveaway night, once an Oilers always an Oiler, so my daughter got a Grant Fuhr jersey for her stuffie. Good times.

Yeah, tv. All for the Hockey Day in Canada programming for HNIC.
Kings Habs at 1:30 MST, then Sens/Caps, Leafs/Bruins (gotta be the one to watch, right?) or Devils/Jets at 5 MST followed by the Battle of Alberta at 8 MST. But still, who in the Wet coast is going to watch the Habs at 12:30 in the afternoon, and who in the East is going to watch the Oilers/flames at 10 PM eastern? Maybe in the bars, but that's about it. Sometimes this "Hockey Day in Canada" is a bit overdone. 8 pm is WAAAY too late to start a weekend hockey game. And 3:30 est is waaay too early to start a weekend hockey game. Damn TV programmers. Just sayin'.

what a game last night!! shoot out victory!! it was insane!!! only goal of the shoot out and i was able to capture it with a little point and shoot while i was drunk!!!! one more game monday then up to north dakota for a yr =(
