I think I've been pretty vocal about dirty hits. Drew isn't exempt. It was a cheap and uncalled for play. The League doesn't need this at ALL. It pisses me off someone on my team does this. What a joke the fine is. $2,500. That's it? It should be WAY more. Bullshit play that's inexcusable.

 

Minny Wild signed a 51 year old goalie to be the backup for a game. Pretty cool to get a 1 game contract and almost get to play? LOL Matt Hackett made it up from the minors, so Deutsch never got to go for more than the warmup, but how cool is that? :-)

After a 10 game winning streak the Bruins lose to the Red Wings. I'm not that mad because I'm a fan of the Red Wings just wish it wasn't Todd Bertuzzi that scored the game winner....asshole.

 

If the oilers don't make the playoffs AND put up a good run it will be titanic failure. Just read about the MIN/EDM game and the caliber of players on Edmonton is massive. Hall, nugent Hopkins, eberle, smyth, horcoff, hempsky, hordichuck, whitney, petry and khabibulin in net. The two first rounds are putting up numbers and so are the others. The oilers have so much potential with this roster. Hoping for the best from them.
