You know, New York has what, THREE teams (Rangers, Isles AND Devils) within easy driving distance. I don't understand (except for the Leafs' territorial roadblock) why a 2nd team couldn't go in Southern Ontario. Heck, TORONTO, as much as I hate to say it, could EASILY support a SECOND team within the city confines, and it would still get a larger fanbase than 30% of the US cities. Not hating on the US cities, but I KNOW that this is truth about TO. And I'm a proud WESTERN Canadian.....

Just sayin'. Markham would be an easy sellout. Just like Hamilton. Or Toronto x2.......

 

do not construct a building thinking there's a chance to get an NHL franchise because the league has no plans at this time to relocate another team. Until the nhl owns a team and puts it there because this will be a big cash cow for us!!Gary Bettman is an ass! Mr control it freak!

It will happen, but the midget as you said will want an expansion team & it will be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Also thats another team in the east. You could have 3 teams here they will still sell out. One maybe markham one in hamilton. That way you feed off north gta & west. I'll always bleed blue n white though. So i dont really care if it happens. But we know it's coming within 5 years.

 

Really wanna see another team in Toronto...I dont really know why...but maybe because i wanna see them do better then the Leafs lol

^^^^ No, we don't want Hughson back, we petitioned to send him out East. Actually, we're doing pretty good with the regional Sportsnet coverage. Have you seen/heard Ray Ferraro? He's really good.

 

Coley is starting to lose it a bit imho! I like hughson.
