Thats an old pic from philly,& partly why he & carter were traded. Too much boozing etc.

 

I believe the real reason he was traded was he didn't get along with Pronger (big shocker). People within the organization have also stated they weren't fond of each other. I hope him and Gagne will flourish in LA along with Brown.

 

Yeah, I think Pronger, despite his massive talent, has a massive ego. And he wanted to be the captain, and stopped at nothing to make sure he was. Then again, maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist. Besides, from his time in E-town, I don't think he's that great in the locker room. No denying his talent though.

If I was 25, making millions, and a superstar, I'm not sure I wouldn't be similarly enjoying a healthy amount of partying and boozing too. Richards should love LA. Showing up to hockey games without winter jackets, boots and gloves? Damn, that's fine.
