Cool. My collection is more along the lines of signed jerseys or hats. Gretz, Messier, Smyth, Simpson, Iginla (Team Canada jersey), Souray (anyone want it? LOL), etc. I've got a photo of me drinking champagne from the Stanley cup someplace. And there's some other paraphernalia too, but geez, it MUST be in storage somewhere, right? I also had a team signed Oilers stick, but somehow cannot find it anymore. :-(

Agreed. Not like Downie's an angel, but if you're gonna fight, then fight, you KNOW Downie will go. This was a total cheap shot.

I guess you failed to see the slash Downie gave to JMFJ, Craigger. I'm not defending it but after watching JJ for the last couple years I don't think he is dirty. I wouldn't EVER put him in the same category as Downey. I'm sure this video is proof positive that Downey deserves whatever he gets. Total intent to injure and a little elbow at the end too.

I put Downey in the same category as Matt Cooke and Pronger. One hit, or a couple of hits, does not categorize a player as "dirty". A constant barrage of dirty hits makes a player dirty. Johnson has had a couple bad hits in his career but every defensemen has. The comparison to Bertuzzi is a joke.

Jack Johnson is no saint. He is a hockey player though, so that is to be expected. He is far from dirty. Cooke, Downie, Avery, those guys who go out there in an effort to make guys miss games are on a whole other level.
