Bruins 0-4 on the PP
Lightning 3-3.....

 

I have nothing to say. Game 7 it is then. And if we lose, whatever Boston fans are use to it.

 

I would like to start off saying I suck at hockey.

Got back from drop in just now. Maybe 25 skaters there. 12-15 from the USHL/NAHL, 5-6 from Tier 1 AAA Midget Major. One of the guys went 17th overall in the USHL draft.

I thought I was sweet back in the day, played Tier 1 a little. Damn have the times changed.

I conclude with the fact that I now suck.

edit: one of the guys did look a lot like Taylor Hall.

 

^^ as long as you're out there playing man. I'm one of the worst players on my team. I play with kids that played D3/D2 hockey, but that's how you get better.

 

I mean I enjoyed it and did what I could. It was mostly the fact that reality just hit. I've been away from high level hockey for a few years, hadn't seen the gap in skill. I was in awe a little bit.

 

^^ its really tough to get back into if you haven't played in a while. Don't worry, your talent will come back.

 

Eh I'm fine with where I am, I'd like to join a beer league though. I don't expect to be that good without skating 6+ times a week and off ice just as much.

^^ I skate 3-5 times a week in beer leagues. Last year my team won it all and I led it in goals and assist. I switched teams to the 3rd toughest league in MA and we made it to the semi finals but lost. Honestly, I didn't care because it was so much fun.

Yeah Bruins/Lightning game 7, and no one in Boston has any confidence. Our PP is terrible and we are letting the other team control the games. Either way, Vancouver will win it all.

 

Exactly, I know I'd have a blast on any old team again.

Still sticking with a Canucks/Bruins final.
