Took french through elementary school. Still don't know the vocab, but I've got the pronunciation down pat.

If you want to learn French, certainly don't learn from the French Canadians. It is far more a form of Frenglish than actual 'french'. Learning young is your best bet, but you are clearly past that. Get a tutor or someone who speaks it and learn to have basic conversations. Easily the fastest way. All depends on your dedication to it.

Cant say enough about canadian girls. Wish I had gotten more info from one girl who was from Saskatchewan. Don't know her name, all I know is she played volleyball. Met her during tequila volleyball. oh cabo, such good times.
