Long term, Torres is a bust. Short term, just as bad. I don't see Torres ever being a shadow of himself in his goal scoring days. Injuries and lack of confidence do not make a striker worth $55+ million dollars.

Im not saying he's the answer to our prayers this season, we screwed up the season for ourselves by going on a colossal losing streak, but I think it's a step in the right direction.
If Torres was joining Man U, or Arsenal you guys would all be singing his praises.

It's not the number, it's the timing. Berba carried the torch in the first half. Rooney will carry it in the second half. No worries. Besides, for all of Rooney's lack of goals, he's been doing the business everywhere else on the pitch. The more appropriate question is "How many losses does United have this season?"
