Was so stoked for Barry and Miller on Friday. Those are two really decent guys, feels good to see them win.
Looked like Melvin was going to clean Miller's clock at first, but Jim's Pretty fly for a white guy!
Barry, holy sheep shiat! That armbar escape was just freaking great! Was it not?!! And from him, that was totally unexpected. The chokes not getting him was one thing, but that was a world-class sub defense, no joking around. I haven't seen that particular escape in recent memory. That was like something you'd see in the '45ers or LW's, not in the heavies.
If Barry keep developing his ground game, he's going to have a few more really exciting bouts. Until he meets Reem, JDS, Cain, Mir or some of the other giants. Otherwise, it's going to be fun for a while.
Matter of fact, if Barry could cut to LHW, that would probably be a smart move. Suddenly the HW div is looking pretty dangerous, and I don't see Pat doing any real damage, just making a few fun shows here and there. If he kicked those spindly legs of Jones, he'd snap 'em!
