I wasn't taken by this event since it was announced. I knew Brock was out of his league here. The way he cowered and ran back every time Overeem threw a punch (or faked). Was hoping for a fight rather than a bullying match.

I agree, Cerrone seemed lethargic and kept his guard down. Not sure if he wanted to prove that he has a strong chin or what. He dropped Diaz several times and walked away. It was annoying.

 

Great fights friday...so much excitement...just was SOOOOOO freakin baffled by Cowboy and his refusal to engage on the ground...he trains wit jackson for fawk sakes he should know how to handle himself lol

Overeem is a monster, Lesnar had no chance

this probably the first time i watch UFC, thought it was cool

usually just watch for a few minuets than change the channel

now I'm addicted to it

 

i dnt se overeem doing any damage in the ufc, i think hes aproached the end of his career, he looked rusty and slow against lesnar, even his stance was weird

 

^ I think the UFC is smart to give him a title shot at JDS, but I dont think he stands a chance.

Overeem will be a good draw for the UFC, but I just dont think his skill set is well rounded enough to make any huge impressions in the UFC.

 

I have to disagree I think he will do well in ufc and I think overeem vs jds will be a awesome fight, only other heavyweights I see with a chance of beating overeem is cain or mir if they can take him down or carwin then it would be a slugfest.

overeem is mainly a kickboxer and I dont see his fights going the distance and cant see a overeem fight going to the ground much, just a ko or tko finish.
