I disagree, I think a loss in his last fight would be what most people would remember more than his incredible accomplishments. Same way Fedor is discussed now. He stayed in too long. Some people say he was never truly great as evidenced by his recent losses, and that's utter BS. He just didn't quit when he was in his prime.
I really, really want Silva to retire before he's past his prime and folks, he's on the far side of it. He's not improving, he's just stagnating---albeit at a high level. He's going to decline now, age will catch up, battle damage will catch up, he will not become greater, he will become lesser. Nothing good can come of him staying in the sport much longer.
A GSP/Silva superfight is pointless, it's a mismatch.
No reason for him to fight Chael again, Chael had his chance with an injured Silva and couldn't close the deal.
Jones/Silva at LHW would be interesting, except for the fact that the odds are in Jones' favor---he has 13 years less wear-and-tear on him. Jones is really the only one who could challenge Silva now, but the age factor is real. As a fight fan, I say, get them in the ring together. As someone who appreciates the people involved, I don't like it, I want Silva to go out intact, he's earned it.

Barry's got to be on his way out of UFC at this point. Unfortunately. He's got a really great set of skills, and is a very exciting guy to watch. Just not very smart when it comes to execution.
