A German - Dutch final would be horrendous ....
not good blood between those teams ... this is what would dominate the news ...

... but IMHO the most likely pairing.
As for Messi that stat is actually quiet pathetic. While not even making the semi and missing out on two more games ... most teams do not even have 30 shots combined ... let alone without making a goal ....
only one ESPN soccer "expert" had Germany even in the final four.
Klose and Mueller are now number 2 and 3 on the all-time scorer list during the WC. Klose has at least one more game to go to pull along side of Ronaldo.
Can't wait for the semi, too bad I am back at work and have to watch the ticker ....

yeah,Klose and Mueller definitely kick ass!
I wonder how things went if Ballack would have been able to play
I agree on you with Messi....man,if he had the ball,at least 3 guys were needed to stop him.
I guess the trick was that Maradonna simply relied on the magic and talent of the Argentinian players, whereas Germany was more aware of the need for strategy and smart positioning of the players.
That combined with the willpower and the great teamwork outplayed Argentinia
