Germany played not as good as against Argentina ... maybe because of Müller?

I really think there youth got to them... They looked in "awe" of being there and Spain acted like they were regulars... I think 2014 is going to be a BIG year for Germany.

 

Yes, too much respect ... too scared of the big names from spain.
But still, Müller was missing.
Spain was not too strong, we just played too weak.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for Nederlands

Man I am sooooooooooooooooooo dissapointed. I nearly cried in the sports bar today. So many german fans everywhere but the german performance wasn't there.

Seriously I am sure the defensive tactic was a very conscious and thought through strategy by Germany. I just dont get why!? There offensive play has worked amazing so far, why not keep it up?

I just dont get it... I hate spain more than ever, I hope Holland will win the final. I hate spain.

 

Spain winning would be a good news for their country, they have the highest unemployment rate in the eu zone 20% and have huge debts...they need pleasant news. That doesnt mean I want them to win, I think Holland has a stronger chance.

 

FINALLY got home and watched the game. Spain lived up to everything I expected! What a game! Puyol = ugliest hero ever! Pedro wasted a major chance even.

scheiss Krake, ich wusste es doch. Ich noch in der Bar gemoppelt, das wenn wir nicht mehr als 1 Tor reingehauen bekommen bis zur 70 Minute dann ist das Spiel unser. And then the goal which was awesome. Can't take that from Spain. The rest was not great, quiet frankly some of the 0-0 games had more fight in them. Germany did not press at all until it was too late and Spain could not hit the goal if it was empty just like the games before.

However, as I said before time of possesion and shots taken were clearly on Spains side and the corner was a perfect beauty.

Finally nation number 8 will join a very exclusive club. ESPN had a great documentary on the other day. Only 56 player ever scored in a WC final and I believe only 36 are still alilve.

I hope the game will have more fight and energy than this one today, maybe even a better streaker ... congrats Spain, you clearly won this one.
