THE NBA Finals Thread - Lakers vs. Celtics
So much history. So many great story lines. So many Laker and Celtic fans here on TS. This is sure to be a great series.
Lets use this thread to banter, joke around, comment and most importantly have fun with what is sure to be an epic series.
First thing's first - Who is in on the avatar bet? The rules are simple, if you are in on the bet, declare that you are prior to the start of the series as well as your team affiliation. (although for most people the team affiliation is obvious) Those who are with the team that loses the series must use an avatar of the winning team's design for two full weeks after the series is over.
I nominate thedude to design the avatar all you Celtic fans are going to have to use in a little over two weeks

I refuse to believe that Kobe and Phil will lose twice to these two-bit leprechauns. The Lakers remember what happened in 2008, and this will fuel them to winning this in 6 games.
Kobe finals MVP for a second time in a row and goes for his 5th ring. Artest will be huge on wheelchair wannabee inglewood gangsta Paulina, Bynum will give us good defensive, physical minutes, and I expect Pau to man-up and remember garnets punk-ass talkin trash to him.
This will be a great series, and give NBA fans exactly what they want. Lets hope the refs dont mess the series up by putting their hand prints on it.
