THE NBA Finals Thread - Lakers vs. Celtics

The little leprechauns are not going down without a fight. However, please bear in mind that the Boston Massacre of 2008 has weighed heavily on the minds of every Laker player involved in that fiasco, especially the key Lakers; Kobe, Pau, Lamar & Fish That was the beating they needed to learn how to win like the champions they are.

^At this point Pau has as many championships as every one of your beloved, aging, broken down, old Celtics. When Pau retires, he will be in the hall of fame with many more rings than any of the current crop of leprechauns will ever have.
If I were you, I would be scared of Pau. I would be much more scared of the Black mamba though.....

Hi,
I am not taking the Laker's lightly at all. I think the point that the fuel on the fire is the very clear memory of 2008 still burning in the front of there minds is on target. We know Kobe is smart enough and professional enough to use this bad thought as a drive, is the rest of the Lakers mature enough to rise above?
I doubt it. Celtics in 6.
Anyone willing to predict the average score? I'm guessing high 90's to low 100's, if the games go over 106'ish, we'll really have to look out in Boston.
Cheers,
Nik

I sincerely hope you leprechauns are not pinning your championship hopes on the shoulders of Rondo. The next big play he makes in a finals series will be the first big play he makes in a finals series...
