Fellow Laker fans. As we are less than 9 hours away from a historic game 7 matchup between the Lakers and the Celtics, I wanted to share a few of my most prized Laker possessions that I hope will bring good fortune to our team tonight;

The first is of a piece of the original Forum floor. The floor where the Laker championship tradition was built, to be later added to on the floor of Staples Center. I have witnessed first hand, many magical Laker playoff moments, Horry's buzzer beater against the Kings, the comeback against the Blazers to name a few. I really wish I could be there tonight as I am sure that several more plays will take place that will go down in Laker history.


Second pic is of the pin handed out at Chick Hearn's 3,000th consecutive game. That was a magical afternoon at the Forum and it was amazing to be a part of honoring the greatest play-by-play announcer in the history of professional sports. If Chick were alive today, he would have a love-hate relationship with this team's inconsistent efforts. He would see that this team has the heart of a champion, and that tonight, Kobe will solidify his position as one of the absolute greatest to ever play the game.


Enjoy tonight's game everyone. We could not ask for a better matchup between two better teams.
