"We"? You didn't even know who Doc Rivers was, so I'm just going to ignore you from here on out.

If I could have hit the court with a mini bottle from where I was sitting I would be playing outfield in the pros.

Noone condones the actions of an idiot throwing debris onto a field of play. I am upset that it happened in Boston but I don't think (aside from poking fun) it can be used as a measure of the intelligence of a Boston fan. There are dickheads EVERYWHERE, not just in green singlets.
I also firmly believe that Doc Rivers is more than just a cheerleader for his team. The man truly possesses the will to win, he has a belief in his team that wasn't even matched by the team manager - it could be argued that his comments throughout the regular season were self preservation, but I don't think so. He is quoted an amazing amount of times saying "We're close" - "This is a championship team" - He was right. He puts TRUE faith in his bench, not taking a shot at LA here, but they do not put anywhere near the trust into their bench.
Phil Jackson is possibly the greatest, certainly the most winningest (I honestly thought that was a real word...), coach in any sport. But remember one thing, the Doc is just getting started.

And yes, "we" because I don't recall ever saying that Pierce was going to stay quiet.

Yeah I wanted a LeBron throwback jersey. I also have a Josh Smith jersey. Your point?
I grew up (and live) in NY, and thus am a Bills/Yanks fan, and was a Knicks fan until '98 when the Truth came out. Not that I expect it to ever happen, but if he went to the Lakers, I'd follow him there. You seem to know a lot about me...
The Doctor: Yes I'm a Ferrari fan, though I'm not sure why that's a surprise (or relevant) given my flag^. Then again, you've made it clear that you lack any common sense whatsoever. I hope you're just a MotoGP fan.
BigE: Cry about it.

Back to basketball.
The worrying thing for both Boston and Laker fans is one thing - Kobe's frustration. He can score 40 points every game if he wants, I'll take that, as long as the rest of them still can't crack a double digit. This is a test of Kobe's ability to bring the team together even when the focus is on him. He was hot, for sure, but I didn't like that every play ended with Kobe for the whole last half. That adjustment will be made, I'll be looking for LA to go hard at the paint early.
Sorry if I'm rambling on a bit, just trying to get back to basketball discussion.
