They had the Lakers heavily favored in 08 as well.... I wouldn't put too much stock in their predictions.

I'm already upset that that bumbling idiot Barkley picked the Lakers, as well as that complete imbecile from ESPN, Hollinger.

I agree it will be a highly competitive series. I find it funny that Boston fans are picking their team in less than 6 games.

Prior to the Orlando / Boston series, Barkley and every other talking head on TV was talking about how the Magic were playing by far the best basketball of anyone in the NBA. I thought Boston handled them pretty well.

I'm up for a good series. But I think Boston has too much for them.

 

They pretty much said the same thing about the suns. Coming off the sweep of the spurs.

I'm pretty a sure bunch of people called celtics over orlando, me being one of them. Not only does Orlando lack any kind low post threat, having Vince Carter as your starter automatically eliminates you from championship contension

 

I think LA wins in 6. Don't think Boston can handle the Lakers' size.

Also, the bench play will be crucial.

 

Celtics are 17-3 in the NBA finals. Just saying.
