I'm not sure whether you are referring to me or not but if I recall correctly, one of the hallmarks being a sports fan is supporting your team no matter what. And naturally, that also means talking sh*t about their opponents even if it doesn't make sense. That's what makes these sport banter threads on Teamspeed so interesting because everyone is so emotionally invested in their respective teams. This contrasts other forums where the majority of the members are rooting for only one team.

I could go on a Lakers forum to talk about this series but I go here instead simply because it is so much more interesting having both LAL and Celdicks fans battling it out. IMO all the things said so far in this thread is out of the competitive nature of basketball fans and should not be taken too seriously (not that I'm assuming you are).

Huge game. Lakers need to play the way they have been playing and try to steal this one. I expect a much better game from Kobe, Pau, and Artest.

I believe the Celtics will play there asses off and try to impose their will early. Wheelchair and 0forRay will have to have great games. Their season is on the line, they will show up.
