Ahhh... what a match!!!! Messi was on today, and you could tell the only way Madrid's defenders were going to stop him was to play dirty.

The first goal was great And he had a couple of great chances later on.. but Casillas guessed correctly both times.

BARCA!

So very true....

"We came to play the leaders who have won 15 out of 15 matches here this season so we are delighted," said Guardiola. "We won comfortably. It wasn't brilliant but you have to bear in mind we were playing a great team."

Today I lost professional respect for Christiano Ronaldo. He is a good athlete. But he's just a baby! He's a whiner. He's soft. He flops. He moans when there is minimal contact. He's always complaining to the media about how the officials in a particular league need to protect "top-paid footballers" a little more if the league wants to attract them. Today, though, was an alllllllll time low for him. Every time. And I mean every time Barca laid a foot on him however so slight, he was super slow to get up. Then the camera caught him close up every time with a moaning, complaining face. I am soooooo sick of seeing him complain and whine. And we all know why: he came to RM and, not only has he been slow to acclimate, he has been completely shown up by Ibrahimovic, Barca, and Messi in particular. He misses the spotlight and knows he has not earned it (and lost it). Today, it was all Messi's stage, and CR did not like it. So what does he do? Whine. Meanwhile, Messi is all class. All professional. All finesse. RM's D line kicked the living crap out of him. And each time he would spring to his feet, put the ball in play, and just kill it. I hope RC took notes of what a composed, consumate professional he saw in front of him today. Go back to freakin' Man U RC, you suck.

Congratulations, it was a deserved win.

I'm still puzzled at how Cristiano Ronaldo thought he could defeat Barca all by himself and how Pellegrini kept Gago for so long.

The title race is not over.
