I think you're blowing this way out of proportion.

Anyways, I'll bet you Lebron ends up at the Knicks or Nets.
I am blowing it out of proportion, it's really not that big of a deal. I just like to argue about everything "Arsenal" for the sake of keeping threads interesting for me and starting discussion. Isn't that better than me just coming on and saying "oh, cool."?

LeBron probably will jump ship for a big market and I know he ♥ NY, but I just think it would be a mistake for him, basketball wise. I know any team would die to have him. If he came to DC, I'd be forced to be a fan, but otherwise I pretty much cheer for the other team. I do wish Jamison success, though...

I had 2 immediate responses in mind, but couldn't choose. You can pick:

"Ironic of you to say that"

"I guess you're more of a 'Joey' fan?"

If they win the championship this year then LBJ stays, if they don't...then I think he bolts. Jay-Z investing money into Arsenal won't really mean a thing but I like that he supports the club.

Money talks.... and Nets have more capital than any other team, not to mention Jay Z has a heavier influence on him than most think. He is helping LBJ become an entrepreneur.... just wait and see.

I think it is more likely that LBJ will end up at either NYK or NJN moreso than Dwayne Wade.

Ok so I don't follow Futbol though I love the sport. Quick question I know one of you guys can answer
If the Arse are so successful and a winning team why would they need $$$$ from this guy? I would think the only reason any business allows for outside investors is when they do need capital......Just my thoughts.

Football, sorry, soccer has such a large following here the publicity for him would be worth the cost of investing.

P.S. I'm not really sorry

If you count second place as being successful, then they're the best

They don't need it at all. He's just saying "if the opportunity presented itself". Although they have debt, they practice operational frugality and the expensive new stadium is greatly increasing income from each match. They've also sold a ton of high-end apartments on their property to cut the debt almost in 1/2.

A lot of teams go into more and more debt by purchasing big-time players, which maybe pay off a little bit. We're getting under the radar players who end up producing basically the same, while spending money where it's more likely to pay off, while at the same time retaining a huge fan base that will buy up any ticket available.

I'm not in the board meetings or anything, but that's basically what I've read/heard/seen.
