In America we tend to confuse sports performance with being valient.

It is not the same thing.

 

He's still a sleazy coward in my book.

 

It is a good move on his part in terms of media control. But not a good move in terms of playing performance. It would have been wise to break himself in at a smaller tournament than going in rusty to a major like the Masters. Odds are he won't win, but if he did, boy what a story that would be. As far as his off course activities, I really don't care anymore. he's still the best golfer ever in my book and I feel fortunate to watch him play.
