Poll: Will Derek Jeter Remain A Yankee For Life?
#12
I believe that he will remain a Yankee for the rest of his career and deserves to. There has been talk lately of the Yankees finding the next best shortstop prospect and developing him in the farm system.

I can tell you this though, if the Yankees thought that dealing Jeter would get them a better chance of winning the World Series, he would be gone on the next train out of the Bronx.

In that case Go Yank...................I can't even finish that sentence. The sky has officially fallen.

Umm, no he wouldn't.

Every player in the Majors is expendable.
You might not think so, by Vladimir Guerrero was every bit as popular here in Anaheim as Jeter is in New York. But when his skills diminished, we let him go (sniff, sniff).
Do you remember when the Dodgers traded freakin' Mike Piazza - when he was probably the best hitter in the game...
If the Yankees could pick up a guy like Roy Hallady and another strong left hander for their bull pen, I bet you Jeter's name would be on the table.
